French Circus- 2024 Fantasy House Theme

Our room in the 2024 Christmas fantasy house (benefiting the Ronald McDonald house) is officially done! Each year, designers from all over my area get together to decorate a beautiful home that is generously loaned for our use. Tickets are then sold to tour the fully decorated home and all proceeds are donated to the Ronald McDonald house! Isn’t that an amazing thing to be a part of? This was my sisters 15th year doing this, and I am always honored to be her partner for such an amazing event. :)

Life is a circus, let’s have fun with it!

2024 Christmas Fantasy House

My two sisters and I had an amazing 3 days of giggling and decorating together. As usual, we focused on the FANTASY part and went with a French Circus theme. There are carousels and elephants and tiny scenes of fun everywhere. It is always a great time when we can get together and play.

The bathroom of this room was done up as a “Snack room” with a tree decorated with a popcorn theme. See the GIANT popcorn made with spray foam? So fun!

While Trina and I were willing assemblers, it is my sister, Vanessa who is the real designer of this space. Her handiwork is obvious in every tiny nook! She estimates she spent over 500 hours collecting and making items for this room, before we even had access to start the decorating!

One tree of this amazing circus room featured the special circus tent keepsake ornaments my GLADS group made together.  Look for seasonal events like this in your area as a fun group activity.

Seasonal events like this offer a great opportunity to get together with your group, have an amazing time, all while supporting an amazing cause. My GLADS ladies and I were able to create special themed ornaments for the room.

A vintage Emmett Kelly Jr. circus train, a family heirloom, was a highlight under the tree. Look at the cute animals peeking out at us! The vintage merry-go-round horse completed the fun design.
